The heavy metal singer’s former family home that he shared with his manager wife Sharon Osbourne and his children is in the upscale residential neighbourhood of Hancock Park, two miles from Hollywood.
The famous couple purchased the 11,565 square-foot estate in 2015 for $11.85 million and spent years restoring and updating it, creating a luxury home with all mod con trimmings designed to entertain on a grand scale, including elevator access, chef’s kitchen and guest apartment.

Although not as ritzy as their former home in Beverley Hills where they filmed the hit MTV reality show ‘The Osbourne’s’, the Hancock Park mansion did serve as the backdrop to the couple’s documentary, ‘Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home.’

Preserving the historic architectural charm of the 1929-designed mansion, the seven-bedroom, eight-bathroom home is replete with Mediterranean Revival-style features – popular in 1920s and 1930s California – borrowed from traditional design aspects from the Mediterranean region, particularly Italy, Spain, southern France and Greece.
Mediterranean-esque accoutrements include a terracotta-roof, mosaic-tiled pool and Italianate grounds dotted with cypress trees.

The Hancock Park trophy estate’s standout features include a screening room reminiscent of ‘Old Hollywood’ with a fireplace adorned with the signatures of famous Hollywood actors and musicians, a wood-panelled library and a home bar.

Outdoor lifestyle features are equally lavish with five-star trimmings that include an outdoor area, a dining area with pizza oven and barbecue, gardens and a swimming pool.

It is understood that the estate is listed with sole agent Carolwood Estate and is only being shown to prequalified clients.
The realtor describes the Osbourne home as “one of the legendary trophy estates of Hancock Park, steeped in Hollywood history”.
New owners will keep good company, counting a number of notable Hancock Park A-list residents, including Meghan Markle, Jake Gyllenhaal and Antonio Banderas.

The recent listing is its second stint on the market; the home was put up for sale in 2022 for $18 million, when the couple decided to permanently relocate back to their UK home four years before the singer’s death.
The asking price was reduced to $17.5 million, before being taken off the market altogether as their plans to move were put on hold. The rock legend passed away at his Buckinghamshire estate in July 2025.
